Types of Notes.

  1. Referenced:

  6. Examples:
    explain examples of what is being asserted

  7. Suggestive:
    To signal that you could delve into a particular issue. Or to emphasize a point Interestingly, untreated, is implicit in the development of writing.

  8. Translation:
    translate some text that is included in the wording, as is known, should always be included in the original language of the source. If the language is unfamiliar can be reversed: the translation and the original text in the note.


common abbreviation in the Notes.

  • - p. : Home.

  • - pp.: initial and final page.

  • - op. cit. : citato operate. Is usually written when a work has been cited and repeated, in reference to this work later. Today this abbreviation is disappearing and every time a work is quoted and referenced in a previous note you write the first words of the title followed by an ellipsis and the page or pages.

  • -Id or id .: the same author. When the following note refers to the same work cited in the previous.

  • -ibid : in the same place as the previous reference.

  • -Vid. V. Veure, or See : see a play as an extension confirmation.

  • -Cfr. Confróntese as proof of authority.
